2.200M Above Sea Level

Hey guys, it's been awhile since the last time I posted on blog. I was sick a couple weeks ago which successfully ruined my holiday trip that I finally cancelled. I was getting so bored at home then my dad offered me a short trip to somewhere around Mount Semeru. Well, for your information, me and nature will never go hand in hand. I'm a typical mall/cafe-ish girl, so I don't really blend with nature that much. However, my dad is a "Pecinta Alam" freaks, our differences of interest is like heaven and earth. Believe it or not he has reached Mount Semeru for like 20-ish times! He can even remember every route, every sign, every climb, every bend, and what so ever. The thing is he's like the expert of Mount Semeru already. There's no way I take his passion for mountain climbing, ever. Sorry dad.. But, since it wasn't going to be an extreme walk, so I just took his offered instead of stuck at home.

It started with a looong boring ride to somewhere around Malang and finally we entered a small street which doesn't have any signals. Then, the road began to climb where the left right was forest then gorge. As the road started to gorge, it also started to dip, like extremely dip! Just to make the story shorter, my dad stopped in the middle of the street to take some shots and of course I didn't want to miss any chance to get great shots!
Unfortunately, my intention of taking photos were shutting down cause I didn't get many spots there. But then my dad started to continue driving and again stopped in the middle of no where, and yes I tried to take some snaps again.
Actually, I really like how the road looks like. It's a lot darker and more dramatic with full of tree shadows in real life, but I'm sorry that I have to make it brighter so that it'll easier for you to see. We drove back and guess what, my dad stopped the car again for the third times!! He met a guy and they were having some convs which made me feel bored. I got out of the car and again took some shots there!
Done there, we're finally heading to Ranu Regulo! Man, I didn't expect that it's going to be that cold. Don't mind my outfit, I realized that I picked the wrong outfit. I thought that going there in the afternoon wouldn't be that cold, but I was freaking freezing! Despite of the weather, I was distracted by the view though. So at first, I need to parked my car at Mount Semeru registration. If you want to go to Mount Semeru you'll go right, but in my case I'm going left because Rano Regulo is located right in the left side. So, we need to walk for about 15mins to reach the lake. I guarantee that you won't get bored during the walk, cause you can take cool shots with the shadow and the view! Finally arrived at Rano Regulo, and yes I'm at 2.200M above sea level!
